You only asked if he smoked out of the harmful options. You didn't ask if he bakes, or uses a vaporizer, or a water pipe. All of those would leave little to no tar in the lungs. He is slightly incorrect about not seeing things differently. You don't hallucinate, but it does relax the muscles behind your eyes, which makes depth perception more difficult. This is why it is used on people with glycoma. Also, to the ignorant post about how your body is God's, marijuana isn't bad for your body. In no way is it chemically addicting, and it stimulates a healthier appetite, and induces deeper sleep. It has a long list of therapeutic uses, and all studies point to overall positive effects.

Quitting smoking can be one of the biggest challenges in life. The most important factor in being successful in quitting is the determination and decision to be a nonsmoker.

The tools or methods you use to quit smoking are less important. Many will work if you are committed to quitting.

I agree that it is possible to succeed, but I disagree that "only a good wish can help you."

90% of the smoking addiction is mental.

Hypnotherapy and NLP are methods of getting in touch with the unconscious, which is the part of your mind that is responsible for the mental part of the addiction.

I suggest that you view all 5 chapters of this video for a complete explanation of how these modalities can help.

The purpose of this series is to educate - NOT provide hypnotherapy.

You say that you had to "try" - and that's the problem: When we "try" we get the opposite, and the harder we try - the more we get the opposite. It's the law of reversed effect in action.

Instead of trying, how about taking inspired action? In other words, learn how to communicate with your unconscious and negotiate with it to automatically take away the stress and the cravings.

I suggest that you watch all 5 chapters of this video so that you'll understand how all of this can help you.

And the Internet just got a little dumber with that comment.

The tax is used to pay a tiny part of the massive expense caused by smoking. Go into any big hospital and you will find entire floors filled with people on life support slowly dying from lung cancer and other smoking complications. They have no ability to pay even a tiny fracton of their own medical bills and it is illegal to refuse them medial care. The hospital and the tax payer foot the bill for the dying idiots.
